Terms of Service

1. Service Description

MailClarity is a digital financial awareness platform. It connects to your email account via IMAP and analyzes email header information to help users identify digital subscriptions, financial risks, and unnecessary charges.

2. Account and Access

• You must connect your email account via IMAP to use the service
• You are responsible for the security of your account
• Users under 18 years of age may not use the service
• You may not share your account with others

3. Free and Pro Plans

• Free Plan: 1 scan, basic scores and summary information
• Pro Plan: Unlimited scans, detailed analysis, unsubscribe feature, weekly reports
• Pro plan fees are charged at the current prices listed on the website
• Founding Member pricing is exclusive to the first 500 users and may change

4. Permitted Use

You may only use the service to analyze your own personal email accounts. The following uses are prohibited:

• Scanning others' accounts without permission
• Using the service with automated bots or scripts
• Abusing or reverse-engineering the service
• Using the service for illegal purposes

5. Unsubscribe Feature

MailClarity Pro helps you cancel detected unnecessary subscriptions. However:

• Cancellation is performed via the List-Unsubscribe mechanism
• Not all services support List-Unsubscribe
• Financial accounts and active subscriptions are protected by Security Shield
• Cancellation results are not guaranteed; some services may require manual action

6. Data and Privacy

Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you accept our privacy policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

• MailClarity only performs email metadata analysis; it does not provide financial advisory services
• Scan results are for informational purposes only
• We are not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete detections
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability
• We are not responsible for outages of third-party services (email providers, IMAP servers, etc.)
• MailClarity's total liability is limited to the service fees paid by the user in the last 12 months.

8. Service Changes

MailClarity reserves the right to update or modify service features without prior notice.

9. Force Majeure

MailClarity is not liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, war, pandemics, infrastructure outages, or other force majeure events.

10. Intellectual Property

The MailClarity brand, logo, software, and content are protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification is prohibited.

11. Account Termination

• You have the right to delete your account at any time
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms
• When an account is deleted, all data is permanently removed

12. Changes

We may update these terms of service from time to time. Your continued use means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
